Men's Ministry
Our men’s ministry focuses on developing and empowering men to take their rightful place in their families, society, and the world. We are fully persuaded that when men rule and reign as kings and priests as designed by God, then families and society will function properly and many of the social ills will disappear. We believe in the fellowship of the brethren and breaking of bread, where iron sharpens iron, and that we are called to be our brother’s keeper. Men’s fellowship creates a safe space for brothers to share their experiences, encourage each other, and be united in prayer and worship.
1 Timothy 2:8
Therefore, I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands, without anger and disputing or quarrelling or doubt.
Couples’ Ministry
Joyful House of Prayer Church is a family focus church and believes in union and harmonious relationship between husband and wife. This ministry creates an environment where couples can learn and grow in their matrimonial relationship. Couples are taught to continuously work on their relationships, how to resolve conflicts in a loving way, communication, how to raise children in a godly manner, boundaries with families, and basic rudiments of marriage.
Ephesians 5: 22 -23/25
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as [a service] to the Lord. 23 For the husband is head of the wife, as Christ is head of the church, Himself being the Savior of the body. 25 Husbands, love your wives [seek the highest good for her and surround her with a caring, unselfish love], just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her.
Children’s Ministry
The Lord Jesus has commanded that we should let the children come to Him and not to hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. We believe in creating an environment where our children can learn and experience the touch and love of Christ on their own level. This is a place where kids experience God in a fun and understandable manner for their age and are trained up in the ways of the Lord to do great exploits for the Lord.
Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go [teaching him to seek God’s wisdom and will for his abilities and talents], even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Praise and Worship Ministry
Worship is an integral part of our Christian experience as individual members and corporately when we gather. God values and desires that we worship Him in spirit and truth and as we do, He comes an inhabits and dwell in the praises of His people. We believe as we worship God, He will move mightily amongst us with great signs and wonders. God has called us out and liberated the Church to come worship Him.
Exodus 8:1
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me”.
Prayer and Intercession Ministry
Jesus has commanded that all believers ought to pray and never lose heart. We believe for every house (believer) to function properly; it must be a house of prayer, otherwise, the enemy will pervert its original purpose for his own agenda. Therefore, we gather corporately twice a month on Fridays, and we encourage believers to individually pray without ceasing. We teach believers the right way of praying and are firm in the power of praying in the Holy Spirit. We believe every significant move of God will be preceded by prayer and we must pray for the kingdom of God to be experienced by people on the earth as it is in heaven.
Ephesians 6:18
With all prayer and petition pray at all times [on every occasion and in every season] in the Spirit, and with this in view, stay alert with all perseverance and petition [interceding in prayer] for all God’s people.
Women's Ministry
Proverbs 31:25-26 New Living Translation – 25, She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. 26 When she speaks, her words are wise, and she gives instructions with kindness.
Proverbs 31:25-25
A women’s ministry is a place where women just do life together. We help women identify their passions and reach their full potential, grow deep in a relationship with God and it is where we worship God in spirit and truth.
Christ chose some of us to be apostles, prophets, missionaries, pastors, and teachers, so that his people would learn to serve and his body would grow strong.

Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
